  Portland is often thought of as a National Leader when it comes to sustainability. The effort toward the equity portion of sustainability often pales in comparison to the environmental and economic portions.In order to have a movement that is beneficial and relevant to everyone we need to find new ways of doing things in order to avoid perpetuating the dominant oppressive cycle of our past and present.Portland has a unique opportunity to change what it means to be green
